Then you pour water into the small hole in the silicone part. Then you allow it to freeze then you are ready to use them in your drinks. The balls of ice will last for a few drinks and doesn't water down your drinks nearly as bad as crushed ice. You can also use juices and other liquids to add flavors to your drinks.
