I was very surprised at the quality of the sketch book. The cover is nice and hard for protection and the spiral binding of the sketch book is really strong and large enough for you to flip the pages with out messing them up. I have had a few books that would mess the pages up if you flipped the cover and pages to the back to focus on one page but this allows you to freely do that. The pages are strong and you wont be able to rub a hole into it when you erase a mistake.I draw a lot with different types of things and the first thing I tried on here was chalk and charcoal and my picture turned out lovely and didnt get messed up at all. I love that this has a dotted line so you can freely take out a picture if you want to with out ripping it. this sketch book is high quality and I highly recommend it to any artist beginning or expert this is a great one.
