When you pick up the box these canvases are in you realize how heavy it is. I'm use to cheaper made canvases that are very light weight but these are super well made and are flat so they are easier to hang up. I love that you get different sizes making this prefect for any artist for their many projects. These remind me of the ones that schools use because they are not hallow but they arent make with cardboard they have more of a hard wood panel feel to them. The canvas is strong and holds paint really well and it is easy to draw on before you paint the picture.
